Despite the fact that Annette loves to sing, there's no doubt in anyone's mind that her childish songs could never be a bladesong. That is, until an Imperial squad finds her and accuses her of being a bladesinger.
Felix, as it turns out, is the kind of swordsman who had always relied on the strength of his blade rather than the dubious benefits bladesinging could provide, so he couldn't care less about the claims they'd made.
Her songs are childish, but he finds himself captivated all the same.

“Silly Torao, you think too much,” he decided, and then, not for the first time since Law had boarded his ship, Luffy surged forward into his space and wrapped his arms around him twice in a clingy hug. “Didn’t you want to meet your special person, too?”
“N…not since I was a kid,” he managed, voice tight from the embrace. And then it slipped out before he could stop himself, as things always seemed to do around Monkey D. Luffy, “I was kind of messed up, Strawhat. I didn’t think my soulmate would want to meet me.”
Luffy stiffened, then pulled back to look at Law, eyes fierce and burning, before he reared his head back and took Law by surprise by headbutting him so hard he saw stars.

In a world where the things you write on your skin shows up on your soulmate's, Law never expects to find his soulmate like this. Not when his soulmate had never really been one for writing on their own hands, anyway.

Maybe it was the way he walked. He carried himself straight, like a soldier, but there was a sort of grace to it that mesmerized her. He had a defined jaw and a prominent scar across his nose, but those features couldn’t hold her as much as the sharp, piercing gaze that spoke in a language infinitely more important than words.

After a few minutes, watching a few more students and members of the community trickle in for the open practice before the first official practice match, Hitoka worked up the courage to slip forward. Out of habit, maybe, she made her way straight to the railing and grasped the metal in her hands, taking a deep breath and letting her eyes rove over the court.
“Oya oya, what’s this?” a voice, almost directly beneath her, made her jump and let go of the rail. “Isn’t that one of the little crows?”

He snorts in her ear, and she grins to herself. It’s always a feat to make him break out of his stern leadership role, and Pidge makes it a personal goal to do it at least once a stream. She wipes her grin off her face quickly, though, because she knows her face is on the stream somewhere and she doesn’t want them to see her goofing off. Or, y’know, enjoying herself, heaven forbid. It would ruin her image.
Besides, their fanbase has been growing even more lately and they have some...wild ideas.

Kei isn’t quite expecting Kuroo Tetsurou when the Crows team up with one of Hinata’s friends in Final Haikyuu Quest, but Kuroo Tetsurou is what he gets. And after that first raid together, all the parts start slowly falling into place, from questing and duels with Kuroo to accidentally running into him outside of the game when all Kei really wanted was to meet up with Akaashi to buy the new expansion together. And somehow, Kei can’t really bring himself to mind when they end up meeting up not-so accidentally from then on.

A car was backing up to the front of the house, a little too fast. With the way it parked there, Kei figured it was with the ease of a feat practiced many, many times. In the porch’s light, he could make out something scratched on the Pontiac’s trunk and, once his eyes adjusted to the glare on the metal and the two drinks he’d let Yamaguchi give him, he spotted a messy BITCH scratched above the lock.
The light glinted just right when the trunk popped, and he caught a different scrawl above it that read SEXY.
Now that he knew that Kuroo Tetsurou had SEXY BITCH scratched into the trunk of his car, he decided with even more certainty that he never wanted to speak to him. Ever.
