Summary
A very long fanfic series for Wings of Fire I originally posted to FFN and was asked to post here, written from 2016 to 2020 (after Book 8), starting from the events leading up to Orca's death and ending three years after Arc 2. I've marked it as complete, but there were originally supposed to be 5 books in the series (over a million words!). A summary for the fourth and fifth appear at the end of Rising Flames (parts of which take place a hundred years after the end of Rising Flames), which should give some closure to anyone who gets through the whole thing.
The fic contains a mix of canon and original characters. Dark Seas is a single PoV for the entire time (though which character changes partway through), while the others have a larger cast and simultaneous but intersecting plotlines. It's generally an adventure story with some tragic mixed in, and was written to be a sort of sequel to the canon series - it expands on a number of the characters in canon, but isn't focused on them solely and is more plot based than character based. I've kept the violence and death level similar to Book 1 and Book 2 of canon rather than the later books. Animus magic plays a large role and I've tried to fix plot holes in canon.

"Really?" Snowfox was surprised. She had hardly met her that Snowflake had revealed all the contempt she felt for Artic.
Snowflake turned to her, displaying the air she used during receptions–placid, bored, hardly existent. Snowfox almost giggled. It didn't match the dragon she knew.
Snowflake breathed a long sigh. She looked away, like these ridiculous heroines of romantic scrolls.
"All my dreams are broken. What hope do I have when I know that I will never wear the royal dragonnets and that my daughters will not be killed by their horrible grandmother as they try to ascend the throne?"
"How sad," deadpanned Snowfox.
"I know," sighed again Snowflake.
Snowfox snorted. Snowflake smiled.

Summary
Wings of Fire belongs to Tui Sutherland. I own nothing in these fanfictions. This is just for fun.
An AU that follows a radically different path for the DOD and the Jade Winglet (or Jade Squadron as it were) in which:
-Whiteout was born an Animus and killed her brother in defense of their tribes after he murdered Arctic.
-Webs is a former Hatchery Attendant, former solider, and hidden animus missing half his soul. And yet somehow he is more competent than canon Webs. Go figure.
- Tamarin was a dormant animus; then the fire nation -erm, Nightwings - attacked. She ain't dormant anymore, folks.
-There's still a Jade Mountain prophecy. The darkness of dragons is the darkness in Scarlet, Vulture, and Chameleon's souls. Make of it what you will.- Words:
