Months back on the road with an insufferably handsome Fire Lord had left Sokka pent up, restless, and quietly losing his mind.
Which was how he ended up in a back-alley tea shop he knew of in Republic City. A very discreet little establishment, or more like a hidden club catering to men with, shall we say, particular appetites for the company of other men.
Inside, he found a masked figure pinned across a table, getting railed and split open by a queue of hungry patrons. He looked a hell of a lot like a certain someone.
The Fire Lord would never.

Mike broke off here, his mind arriving at a horrendous blank.
He heard a quiet breath, maybe a sigh, maybe fabric that had brushed against the phone on Harvey's end.
"I just—" Mike blurted into the silence. "I'm just wondering..." He shut his eyes, an uncanny, calm fatalism settling over him. "I'm just wondering what you want me to do."
There was more silence from Harvey's end.
"You know what," Mike said rapidly, planning to say, I'm sorry I called, I'll figure it out.
"I'll send a car to come get you," Harvey said. "Be ready in ten minutes."

For one brief moment, Harvey’s gaze dipped downward—toward Mike’s mouth.
Then it was gone again so quickly Mike almost convinced himself he’d imagined it.
Harvey leaned back slightly, expression returning to that maddening calm amusement.
“All right, puppy,” he murmured, voice low and rough around the edges. “You’re a big boy. I stand corrected.”
The nickname hit Mike like a physical blow.
His throat suddenly felt dry.
Oh, he was absolutely doing this on purpose.
Mike licked his lips absentmindedly before immediately regretting it when Harvey’s eyes flickered downward again.
