Summary
Harry and Niall are childhood friends that turned into teenage sweethearts. But Harry left Niall behind to chase his dream of making music and movies. He's achieved many of his goals but he soon realized that they don't really mean much without the right person by his side. Now he's decided to relocate back to London, become the friend, brother, and son he always wanted to be and win back his very reluctant Irish ex-boyfriend. He's in for a shock because Niall is not the same sunshine filled boy that he remembers and there is a lot of pain and resentment that he has to work through before he's going to get anywhere. The good news is everyone is on his side, well, everyone but Niall that is.

“Merry Christmas, Keith,” Harry says to him easily, pretentious California arse that he is using ‘Merry’ instead of ‘Happy’, and they eat the desserts in small bites between mindless chatter, fighting over the sorbet with fork tussles and it feels like home, even if he’s seven hours away.
(Christmas, 2019, stuck in a posh Italian hotel because of the weather. Many mistakes are made.)

Summary
A two story house, white all around the outside with a gray tin roof; a covered porch that wraps around the side of the house; window boxes full of flowers; refinished hardwood throughout the entire house; an updated, modern kitchen; a room with a grand piano; four bedrooms, four bathrooms; so much space, and that’s just the start of it.
It’s… kind of nice, actually. But being a nice house doesn’t take away the sting of what Harry’s done or what he’s asking Niall to give up by moving there.

Summary
“Haz, will you stop dancing and just hold the bloody camera steady?” Niall groans, tossing a wedge of lime at his flat-mate/ best friend/ secret crush/ camera man/ pretty much everything else. And really, he should be used to this by now, because Harry does this every week, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating on multiple levels.
“Stop playing this jaunty tune then.” Harry laughs, dropping any pretense of filming in order to flail about wildly to the Irish folk music that Niall has playing to accompany his show. This happens every time. Niall really shouldn’t be surprised. He shouldn’t even play the music, because he always has to re-layer it in editing so that it doesn’t skip around.
“Jaunty tune- Who- Who even says shite like that?” Niall cackles, letting himself join in with Harry’s strange dance rather than get angry over things. He couldn’t stay mad at Harry for any longer than about five seconds even if he tried. Harry just has that effect on him.

“Hi, Niall! What can I do for you? Are you in trouble again?”
Niall shakes his head like he always does when people are asking him questions. It’s what he does, giving them non-verbal answers. But then he realizes he’s talking through the phone, so he speaks out loud again. “I-,” Niall trails off, tightening his grip on the phone. He stares at the ground, hoping that the ground would swallow him. “My mum kicked me out of the house.”
