Katsuki raises an eyebrow. The foot tap. The pout.

He scrubs a hand down his face.

You’re detaching, he reminds himself, mentally slapping his own forehead. You are emotionally detaching like a well adjusted adult who absolutely did not give the guy you’ve been in love with for years an insane gift at a Christmas party to force a reaction.

Katsuki rolls his eyes, swearing under his breath. He wants to punch something. He wants to die. He wants to go back in time and prevent himself from ever making physical contact with a single squash.
He also wants to jerk Izuku off with the bastardized results of his own debasement.
