Summary
Somewhere deep in the cascades, 2007, Stardew Valley chugs along its predictable routine. The arrival of two brothers shakes things up in Pelican Town, for better or worse. Despite all signs pointing toward it being a pretty bad idea, Sebastian takes a liking to the mute one, who is definitely not normal, and they both have a lot of baggage to deal with. Sam really throws a wrench in things when he finds himself swept away by his own emotions. The other farmer seems polite... A bit saccharine, if you ask Shane. Everyone better get their shit together right quick, before their enemies figure out where they've gone off to.
(A POV switching cryptid mystery where everyone is gay and crazy, with a lot of 2000s music references and art (that I draw myself for practice) and a bit of loose watcher lore inspiration)

That was exactly thirty-five faces, names, likes, and dislikes to remember, which was a daunting task for someone like her, even more so when she decided to do it all before the end of the winter. Summary
Sam feels like a fish out of water in Zuzu City; new college, new job, a new sense of freedom that he isn't sure he likes as much as he expected to. What's worse is that his manager takes an immediate disliking to him, and won't seem to let it go.
It's a little funny that the guy shares a name with Sam's ex-best friend. The two of them are nothing alike.

gorgeous expansion of the lore for totk. i really loved how this fic leaned into the science side of things. link was a wreck this entire fic, and rightfully so. the ending was so fulfilling and i was really happy that zelda wasn't just instantly perfect and happy when she finally came home. it was raw and messy and i loved every minute of it

It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Dean Winchester’s been camp manager of a science research station on the Alaskan tundra for thirteen years. Dean likes his job; fixing the camp trucks, troubleshooting the generators, keeping clueless undergrads and NSF bigwigs from walking into grizzly bears or getting lost in snowstorms — it’s all in a day’s work. It keeps him pretty busy, and this year his brother Sam's visiting too, so he's even busier. So it’s really not any of Dean’s business when some weirdo antisocial ornithologist sets up a tent a few miles away, a dark-haired blue-eyed guy who’s doing a “very long-term" study on birds or wings or something, and who never, ever takes off his big lumpy backpack. But then the new guy starts dropping by camp for coffee and... well, he’s not officially part of camp; he's not Dean’s responsibility; he’s really not Dean’s problem at all, but when a strange blizzard comes sweeping in, Dean gets worried and goes to check. Thing is, Dean's spent years in the sweeping vistas of the Arctic. He knows all about the midnight sun and the northern lights, the ice caves and avalanches, the rough-and-ready Haul Road truckers and the even rougher-and-readier wild animals. But even so, what he finds is much more than he bargained for.
