"All Might, I-" He speaks too late, sweaty palms slipping off the fabric of All Might's shorts with ease.
Fuck.
In which: Izuku dies like, a lot of times, and his mother is not happy about it.

In a never-ending cat and mouse chase, Izuku tries to evade capture from his father and happens to catch the attention of many heroes. He tries to stay away, but there's only so many secrets an immortal vigilante can keep before cracking.

Katsuki's parents get him a dog. When he discovers that Deku has a fear of dogs, Katsuki becomes determined to make Deku like his dog, in particular, because Grenade is the best and only idiots would be afraid of her. He does not intend to con himself into rekindling his friendship with the stupid nerd, or to come running when shit happens. But shit happens.
(And, if asked, he'll insist that he is not, actually, friends with Deku, no matter what it looks like from the outside.)
