“Three weeks in a row, Ilya.” Shane comments, his own eyebrows raised, “The pans are put back, but always in the wrong place.”
“Okay, I’m sorry,” Ilya says, fast. Shane turns back around.
“This isn’t just about the pans,” Shane mutters, low and under his breath, but Ilya catches it.
“Then what is this about?” Ilya asks, his voice competitive and harsh as he drops his phone to give Shane his attention, “Because you’ve been sighing, huffing, and turning your nose up for the past week, Shane. Is like you are tired of me.”
Shane’s shoulders stiffen slightly.

“What are you talking about? You got this all wrong.” He took a step back from the intimidating Alpha who showed his evil grin.
“I’m never wrong baby.”
“Don’t call me that!”
“But I like calling you that. Or do you like kitten more? I like calling you that too, yes.”
“You are calling me nothing! Whatever you thought, it’s not it. Forget about it.”
The Alpha clicked his tongue. “Ah, so you do not mind if I tell the doctor my concern about you…right?” Ilya said lowly.
“W-What?”
“I mean if there really is nothing wrong then you shouldn’t worry.” The corner of his mouth turns up almost evilly.
“Rosanov.”
“I mean Omegas in sports are forbidden as it can be dangerous. I definitely do not want my Omega to be in danger.” He walks towards him almost predatorily, eyes darkened.
“Rosanov, no please…”
“But I know hockey is your life. The passion, I can see it in your eyes, you are great at it, kitten. I respect it but I will keep your secret on one condition.”
