Hiyori was right in front of him though, face flushed and long fingers wiping hot tears. Ah, Jun didn’t notice that he was crying. Hiyori looked like he wanted to cry too.
But above all, Hiyori looked unfairly beautiful, even under the unflattering lightning of the dorm’s hall. His watery eyes were more amethyst-like than usual. He looked like the fallen hero of a tragic tale; like Narcissus peeking at his lake. Jun felt his heart ache with sorrow.
