Summary
"You don’t have to leave tonight," Viv said. Stay here with me. Because I need you to personally ensure my safety.”
“It would be my pleasure,” Semeru replied. His voice was low and velvet. “In so many ways.”
“You’re quite seductive when you want to be, Captain,” she smiled, lightly touching the inside of his wrist. What would you do if you fell in love with a man from another species? Coral Island farmer Viv is discovering what it's like to build a relationship with Semeru. Some things are the same — figuring out how their lives fit together, trying to make a long-distance relationship succeed around work and obligations, that beautiful new relationship energy — and some things are different. Very, very different.
In this story, Semeru and Viv discover a terrible secret, fight an evil corporation, build a relationship together, and change the world. There's some angst, some conflict, some whump, some slice-of-life, some spice, some merfolk lore, and some straight up romance.

Summary
"Because," Scott continued, his voice all but a saccharine murmur, "If you had showed up to meet me looking like this, I'd..."
He trailed off. His hand reached forward to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, but it lingered against her cheek. Her breath caught in her throat at the graze of his thumb against her face, and she dared to peer up at him. Her eyes flickered between his, desperately trying to gauge just how much of this was only him teasing her yet again—all while a smug grin crept across his face.
"Well, I'd have to ask for your forgiveness."
"Forgiveness?" She breathed, unable to stop her eyes from dropping to his lips, "For what?"
"For this."It had been a full year since Rosette fled her old life and started anew on Coral Island. Newfound freedom, good friends, and a touch of magic was more than she could've ever hoped for; she was content with that. That is, until the antics of some mischievous giants got her the attention of some hot singles in her area. After what she'd endured before coming to the island, she figured that love was never going to be in the cards for her... but maybe having some fun in the meantime couldn't hurt.

Summary
“Lay on your stomach,” you say, pulling the top drawer open to find what you’re looking for.
“You feeling real bossy tonight, huh?”
You look over your shoulder, and despite himself, he’s walking over to the bed.
“Mhm. I have to be when you’re so stubborn,” you say. You locate the bottle of lotion and take it out, closing the drawer before turning to face him. He’s on his stomach, head on one of the pillows.
“So what’re you doin’?”
You hold up the lotion bottle to show him, and he sighs defeatedly. A smile makes its way to your face at his compliance, begrudging as it is.
You walk over to him and he rests on the side of his head. You approach the bed and plant one knee on it, swinging the other leg over him to straddle the back of his thighs.
“Y’know you don’t need–”
“Hodari,” you cut him off. “Shut up.”
