Summary
Ahead, the guy at the counter finishes up, spinning on his heel with his laundry bag in hand. Peter freezes as he takes in the man’s face: perfectly chiseled jawline, defined cheekbones, blue eyes, and textured skin that hints at some serious burns. He’s staring, he needs to stop staring at his face, that’s rude. Peter makes the mistake of trailing his gaze down to his arms, which are so muscular. God help him.
He’s so distracted he barely notices the man smiling back, clearly amused.
“See something you like, Bambi?” The low timbre breaks his ogling.
Peter immediately snaps his eyes back up to those baby blues, which was also a terrible idea. Peter needs to sleep, desperately. He’s clearly starting to lose his mind.
“Uhh” He splutters rather eloquently.
The man quirks a non existent eyebrow, but Peter gets the idea. “It’s rude to stare.”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean—it’s not that I was staring in a rude way, I mean…”
God, Felicia’s going to roll her eyes so hard when she hears about this, and MJ’s going to laugh until she cries.
“Oh yeah? Then how exactly were you staring?” The man’s lips curl in a playful smirk, which is so incredibly distracting.

It was just a random day. Kaveh was going about his daily errands, just being a productive and functional adult, when he crossed paths with Tighnari. Life had kept them busy, so it had been a while since they had last met up. Because of this, they decided to complete this little stretch of errands together. Nothing wrong with that—Kaveh was even looking forward to it a little. Last time they did actually get together, it was a dinner joined by Cyno and Alhaitham. It was nice to not have a conversation derailed with a stupid joke or Alhaitham bringing his… Alhaitham-ness.

Kaveh stopped walking when Mehrak chirped up by side to read out… whatever it was his mechanical friend just said. Why just out of nowhere, why update him on this—and what’s the point of telling him he lost zero points!?

Bruce Wayne finds himself falling for a young reporter who keeps making odd appearances in his life. This man is simultaneously the most lucky and unlucky man, and probably one of the most innocently stupid. Batman is also beginning to form an odd friendship with his new neighbor, Superman. As much as he doesn’t want to like the guy, he can’t get him off his mind.

“Why?” Damian asks suspiciously, eyeing him like Bruce is trying to hide something. “You don’t find him attractive enough? Strong enough? Intelligent enough? The only flaws I can think of are his insufferable optimism and the way he wears that godforsaken suit, and neither of those is enough of an excuse, Father, really. You have no other viable reason for not having asked him out, correct?”
(Or, Bruce had long accepted that his feelings for Clark would remain forever platonic. But sometimes, all it takes is a small push to change everything.
