Each chapter will be a one shot with different moments. This is in the same universe as breaking patterns, but we will see Somi at many different ages. Who knows even moments during the pregnancy, or with her as a new born. Lots of possibilities, yay.

"Ok," Zoey nods and shifts closer, straddling Mira's lap like it was second nature, so now they were face to face. "Let's do this."
She turns her phone so Mira can see. The taller girl adjusts her glasses on the bridge of her nose, squinting at the screen and trying to understand what's being shown to her. There's a video playing of a girl riding a motorcycle and—
Her eyes widen when she takes in the rest of the screen. A second girl is riding the bike, but she is lying down on it, head against the handlebars like she is tanning at the beach. Hands — likely from the driver — roam over her exposed stomach as the city passes them by.
Mira's thighs involuntarily press together, and Zoey, ever the perceptive girl that she is, notices it with a smirk on her lips.
"I know," She bites the inside of her lips while Mira looks at her wide-eyed, heart beating so fast she almost feels like they were the ones in the video.
She shakes the thought away.
"Absolutely not," She says, and Zoey deflates.

After her voice failed during the Golden Live Show practice, Rumi ran. What she didn't consider was Zoey and Mira following her. Them finding out she is a demon goes nothing like she thought it would.
Now, Rumi's patterns won't stop spreading, and she can't deny the connection she feels to the honmoon. She also can't deny how weak it seems to be getting. Gwi-ma probably knows they were about to seal the honmoon for good and has something planned. Something big that has every cell in Rumi's body vibrating.
If that wasn't enough, there's also this stupid fluttering in her stomach every time Zoey and Mira get close to her, which has been happening more and more since they saw her patterns.

It’s when her knees hit the ground that she realizes she’s been here before. She’s lived through this before, and she hated it just as much then as she does now. She knows what comes next.
With her body trembling and all the fight she had completely gone, she summons her sword and lifts it above her head, as an offering to Celine. The words she hates tumbling out of her mouth without her control.
“Do what you should’ve done a long time ago.” Rumi doesn’t dare to look up. At this point, she had already accepted it. She knew what had to happen. “Before I destroy what I swore to protect.”
This is the part she hates the most. The part she is never ready for. From behind the tree, Zoey and Mira reveal themselves. Woldo and Sinkal in hand.
“We see you for what you truly are,” Mira says. Her eyes red, her expression wicked and voice haunted.
“A mistake,” Zoey completes. Her voice is hers but not hers at all. It’s dark and dangerous. Unkind. Hurt. “A demon..."

The boom of her voice - not her normal voice, something like an echo and static and… demon-like - ripples through the honmoon.
Her eyes widen as she gasps, staring at it in horror as she takes a step back, ready to bolt again. But the second she spins around, she freezes.
Standing there, frozen and eyes just as wide as hers probably were, are Mira and Zoey.

But when they get to the Huntr/x building rooftop, what they find is not what they expected. Now they see Rumi for what she really is. Rumi prepares herself for them to summon their weapons, to end it right there. But that's not quite how her night goes.
