‘Whats your worst memory from your childhood?’ Sirius said, expecting a silly anectode about James’ parents forgetting him in a shopping centre or something else insipidly james. What he was not expecting was for James’ eyes to start filling with tears, and for his hands to shake as he tried to hold off the Veritasium he had just drunk.
‘I tried to kill myself when i was 10. My OCD, and my ED got so bad that i couldn’t really stand, or walk, or speak or anything. So i tried to launch myself of the roof. And i did. My parents found me with 2 broken ribs and a broken leg, half an hour later. I was lucky, for that to be the worst of it. The doctors said that if i had landed differently i might have been paralysed for life.’ James wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, a strange nostalgic look coming over him, completely out of place for the story he just told.
‘Anyways i’m so sorry, i feel like i just bummed everyone out, let me go get everyone another drink.’OR
