She dreams of a dead city, a sea filled with spirits, and the snow-covered peaks of Olympus, teeming with enemies and challenges that mirror her descent into the Underworld. Only one figure seems to understand that their conflict is not real: Prometheus, the Titan of Foresight. He behaves as if he is aware that it is all a nightmare for the young goddess, yet there is something decidedly real about him. Had they met before? Was he dreaming too? And if so, why would they be joined in the same nightmare? He is not forthcoming with answers. Melinoë will resolve to find them herself.
