Summary
“If my Stand has a crush on my best friend's Stand does that mean I'm gay this isn't about me though I'm asking for a friend!” Josuke manages to scream into the receiver.
What follows is a long, painful stretch of silence. The plastic grows hot in Josuke's sweaty hands, and he feels his lip starting to split between his teeth, iron blooming across his tongue just like the regret in his gut.
“...Good grief,” Jotaro's staticky voice replies after far too much time. “I thought you were in danger.”
Crazy Diamond can't ask for it. Josuke doesn’t want to admit it. And, of course, Okuyasu and The Hand are the cause of everything, not that either of them know that. It might take a miracle to get them together... or maybe a new Stand user will do just as well.

“Sorry. It was just... you know...” Okuyasu’s voice begins to fade, tension vanishing from his face. By the time he mumbles the last word, Josuke has to hold his breath to hear it. “...dad.”

When he sees Leon looking at him, he cracks that crooked smile of his, a little shaky at the corners. “Buenos días, mi cariño. Ah, or should I say buenas noches? It’s a bit too dark for morning.”

The plant tilts its head, oddly bird-like, and Leon reaches out a shaking hand to brush his fingertips against the woody curve of its coils. The reasons for this are deep and complicated, fostered by two years of friendship and an unnamed something that has been nestled in David’s breast since Shadow Moses, but he is a creature of habit by nature. It’s saved his life before, and habit creeps up on him again now, reminding him to be on edge. Reminding him that there is someone untrustworthy in the same room as him, and he should have his back to a wall.
After the Tanker Incident, Snake and Otacon attempt a frantic mission to steal a body, and try and repair the trust that broke between them.
