Can easily make out her shape as she moves about from the rocking chair to laying on her back in front of the fireplace.
Can see her trace the picture frames on the shelf and stand before the metal stained fridge as she mourns kids she didn’t know.
In the end he leaves everything where it’s at, walks back out through the back door and leaves the key where he found it.
Only he knows it’s there.
(daryl finds a safe haven in the form of an abandoned cabin in the woods. he builds it back up, slowly but surely.)
