Summary
Several weeks after leaving Bofurin, Suo Hayato is still thinking about the friends he left behind in Makochi. He's especially worried about the state that Nirei is in, considering what he did to him. He believes that everyone in Bofurin is better of without him and that his hometown comes first.
It's a shock to him when he finds Sakura and his friends in Bankoku-gai, searching for him.
Now he has to deal with them and the mess thats occurring in the Red Chanpuru. He doesn't know whether he can keep the emotional turmoil to a minimum. Sakura is in a mess and Nirei is fuming. As trouble in Kasai reaches it's peak, Suo is pressured to reveal more about himself while juggling the mess that he's in.

“Am I just anybody?” Loid murmurs from behind, suddenly revealing himself to be much closer, though her never-ceasing awareness of his body-heat had betrayed that already. The retort’s still in line with whatever other teasing remarks they’d been exchanging, but the lighthearted atmosphere falls quickly. Something more heady and serious permeates the air now.
“I only meant, it's very boring.” Yor says, hand trembling in the air with her knife still gripped in its center, vice tight. “You wouldn’t find it… I mean..”
Unexpectedly, Loid takes her hand in his. He pries the knife from her grip with very little effort at all, mostly due to the strength of her grip failing when met with his own. When he sets it down, he doesn't let her hand go.

NEW TITLE: Originally called Long Way Between the Crack and the Break, sequel to Unnaturally Lucky.
Renamed when I found a better idea tying into the first arc and I loved the title of the first arc.
Twilight is figuring out what it means now that he has decided to do his best by Anya, including staying together as a family, even becoming a real one.
He has no idea how to do that, what it will look, what it will mean for the mission, or how Yor fits into...everything, especially since he still has his secrets-and she has hers, allegedly.
Still, he doesn't doubt or regret recent events and that is an improvement upon the delusion he had to maintain to continue acting like he wasn't completely compromised.
He fell apart then, completely. He's building himself into something new, for Anya, and he's aware that he wouldn't, couldn't be doing it without Yor. But what is best for Yor?
Unfortunately, (and unknown to Twilight) Yor is starting to fall apart. Maybe. She's not sure. It's unlike her. But, she isn't totally sure where she fits into the family either-especially after she learns a secret she wasn't particularly interested in learning yet.
