Charles turned his head to look at the other man, frowning. Apart from the faraway look in his eye and the slight tremble to his hand as he brought the bottle to his lips, Arthur looked fine. His clothes were clean and free from mud and blood. He looked well-rested and as well-groomed as he ever did, but it was clear something had shaken him.
When Arthur finally spoke, it wasn’t at all what Charles expected to hear, certainly not in the serious, measured tone that Arthur employed.
“You ever heard of dinosaurs?”
Or, Arthur doesn't realize dinosaurs are extinct and manages to make Charles scared of them too.

Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)

Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.
