Summary
One year after Hitoshi, Aizawa, Hawks and Denki keep you from dying, you drop out of UA. Your parents won't even look at you and cast you out onto the streets. You turn to crime to get by, stealing food and clothes other people deem trash. One day, you catch the eye of a particularly jovial blonde-haired girl, and she decides to sit and talk with you for a while. After hearing your story, she takes you back to her 'home'. Summary
There were times after Rocky moved into the Hail Mary when Grace would be hunched over an experiment, struggling to make things work; struggling to find the solution that Tau Ceti held, then struggling to grow nitrogen-resistant Taumoeba faster. Sometimes he would sit staring at the farm-tanks, slouched in his chair with his hands dangling over his knees, and whisper to himself. “Please,” he would say. “Please, please, please.”
“Who is Grace talking to?” Rocky had asked in the stilted way he’d been stuck with at the time.
“No one,” Grace had shrugged. “Or anyone. Anyone who’ll listen.”
Rocky does not understand humans. But now, he sits on the shore of an infant sea, a brand-new constructed world all around him just waiting for its single lonely occupant to take control of it, and wonders if human senselessness is worth a shot.
“Please,” he whispers, running his claw through the water. “Please, please, please.”
The sea does not respond.
Or, what if your friend accidentally catches the attention of a god in hopes of saving you, and that god falls in love with you instead?

Summary
Simon's only been here, Erid(wherever that is because he's not quite ready to believe its a planet yet), for about 2 months, though only 3 weeks of that has been somewhat conscious. He doesn't trust Grace or Rocky by any stretch of the word, not even sure he's convinced those are their real names. And yet, seeing the usually cheerful, compassionate, and unnervingly trusting scientist so afraid had felt like a cold dead weight in his stomach. Now Simon is wishing he'd taken to learning these aliens' language much sooner.
