Love at first sight, huh.
Katsuki puts the pieces together. “Denki did mention something about you having high standards.”
That makes Eijirou’s face light up like a Christmas tree. He’s almost as red as his hair. “Uh. He told you that?” he squeaks.
Katsuki frowns. “Is it not true?”
Eijirou presses his lips together, sucks in a quick breath. Then he looks at Katsuki, eyes travelling slowly across his face, as if he’s committing his expression to memory. It’s cryptic. It almost seems to last forever.
But just as quickly as it starts, it ends. Eijirou’s eyes are back on the road.
“Yeah,” he admits. “It’s true.”
After ending a long-term relationship, Katsuki decides it’s time to live a little.

Qifrey snorted. “Does that make you jealous?” He asked, bringing his wine glass to his lips.
Olruggio scoffed. “No. I mean I was seeing this girl sometime ago anyway, you know.”
Not really. A disaster of a fling that ended with her walking out mid hookup. There were more attempts. They didn’t go anywhere.
“I didn’t ask if you were seeing anyone Olly.” Qifrey reminded him, smug. “But if you did, good for you.”
Dick. Olruggio wanted to reach for that ashen gray hair and pull as hard as he could, then he remembered about the we’re open part, fixating on that.
“He just lets you… sleep with whoever you want?”
“He just wants me. He can have me. But if I want something else,” Qifrey murmured, his foot trailing up Olruggio’s leg. “I can have it."
Returning to the atelier means working alongside Qifrey again — strictly as colleagues. Except Qifrey has moved on, built a life Olruggio doesn't recognize, and somehow that's the part he can't leave alone.
