The hands leave him in an instant. Peter sags in relief, his danger sense slowly but surely fading away. His saviour comes into focus, and Peter has to hold back a groan when he sees who it is.
“What the hell is going on here?” Stark demands. “Does somebody wanna explain why they’ve got my foster kid pressed up against the wall like he’s some kind of criminal?”
“Your- your foster kid?”
Stark throws his hands up in the air with exasperation. “Yes, my foster kid. Lordy, do you two go outside? Or better yet, do you even work here? How have you not heard about this?”

Summary

In fact, Flux is almost feeling good enough to believe that this might be the year in which he finally works up the courage to confess to his online best friend, Silas, about the years-long crush Flux has on him.
