The blankets shifted as his single captive audience member made herself comfortable, stretching out beside him and tangling her legs with his. A year ago, Sebastian would’ve been awkward as hell about her lack of respect for personal space after The Breakup, but at this point he was desensitized.
“So,” She exhaled fruity, semi-sympathetic steam. “You need to redeem yourself.”
Sebastian snatched her vape and vindictively inhaled cancer. He could quit when he felt like it. One hit didn’t matter. Right? Right.

Above all, their friends were happy for them. They were sweet together: the way Ominis rested his head on Sebastian’s shoulder and yawned over breakfast while Sebastian poured tea for them both.
