There's something odd about the air, some fuzzy taste that's lingering on his tongue as he pants for breath in the heat. Dick blinks back to himself in shock. When did he start gasping for air like a dog? It's not that hot in here… is it? His skin is suddenly burning beneath the suit, prickly with unease and sweat.
He knows with sudden certainty this was indeed Ivy's doing—he can recognize the uncomfortable curl of an aphrodisiac in his lungs, retroactively regretting his decision to come in without a rebreather.

"Where are you t-taking me?" Leon demands, face flushing as he stutters. He can only imagine how rough his voice sounds after all that yelling. A tear trickles down his cheek, and the man grins, picking up his big hand and swiping it away. Leon cries out in protest, twisting away, but he can't escape the broad fingers that cup his cheek and turn his face back to centre.
The bag descends over his head a moment later, a helpless sob all Leon can manage before he's plunged back into shapeless darkness.

"Mmm," Dick manages. His voice is hoarse and raspy, muffled even to his own ears with the mask pressed over his face. He wants to say something else, but all he manages is a slurred selection of incoherent syllables when he tries. Jason laughs sharply. Dick knows it's supposed to come across as aloof, but he can hear the concern hidden beneath the facade. It makes his lips twitch into a faint smile.
