Summary
Mushitarou Oguri is a man of selfishness and superficial greed. He is the wielder of The Perfect Crime, renowned all over as the King Of Crime and the Angel of Murder. He does not feel any qualms about Yokomizo, nor does he wake at night, screaming of terror with the image of his hands around his lover’s neck as he retches up petals in the guest bathroom.
But he does, and that’s what scares him the most.

“We’ll just do it as friends,” he explains, “y’know, for—insurance or whatever. Platonically. You know I’m never gonna try to murder you, and I’m, like, ninety percent sure you won’t either. And then we know that neither of us will end up in a marriage with someone we end up hating.”
