So when you find a knife-wielding skeleton in the woods on your morning jog, you go against your better judgement and heal him. The doctor hands Marius a brochure from across the desk for...living with people with dementia?
“What?” Marius looks down uncomprehendingly at the cheery models on the front, a woman pushing her balding father in a wheelchair. “Isn’t—I mean, Luke’s not even 30 yet, why would he have dementia?”
Luke's illness gets worse, causing not just his body, but his brain to deteriorate. Marius swears to be at his side through all of it, good and bad, no matter the toll on his own mind.

“You’re there,” the flower answers helpfully.
“There?”
“Yes, if I’m here then you must be there. It’s very simple.”
With an answer like that, Vyn begins to get a sneaking suspicion as to where the looking glass has brought him.

As the son of Snow White, Vyn is destined for a happy ending. As the son of the Evil Queen, Artem is not.
Fated to be lifelong enemies, it comes as no surprise that neither of them are particularly fond of one another.
