Or: Post-XV and Pre-P5, Goro and Hibiki become friends--whether or not he's agreed to it is beside the point--and the world becomes a little more ridiculous as a result--but maybe ridiculousness is just what it needs.

Summary
Homura Akemi was happy for Madoka. And she was happy for herself. Madoka was still alive (did it really count?) and doing what she loved most. Helping everyone.
So why? Why did Homura feel so empty ever since that day, when Madoka was erased from everyone's memories except her own? When Madoka handed her the red ribbon before parting ways?
She had done it, right? She wasn't going to die, and she wasn't going to turn into a witch. Homura should be happy. Madoka was.
But she wasn't. She still longed for Madoka, for her words, her presence, just to have her nearby again. But she knew that would never happen. The next best thing was to carry her spirit forward, to spread the kindness Madoka once gave so freely.
Then it happened.
Barely a week had passed since it all ended, since she had finally been freed from the cage of time and the duty of protecting Madoka. Without warning, she was teleported. To a world not unlike what is seen in fantasy media.
Homura didn’t panic. Instead, she saw an opportunity.
A new world. New people. A chance to share the ideals of the girl she loved. A chance to bring Madoka’s kindness to those who needed it.
Because that’s what love is, isn’t it?

Caelus stumbles across the imaginary finish line, bowed but certainly not broken… and the Foxian general grins down at him. It’s an expression condensed into a beam of pure, early morning sunshine that reinvigorates his mind, but not his body. It’s a smile he’s grown more and more accustomed to seeing, training with the Lackless General
“Kept up that time! Been improving- I expect nothing less from you, Trailblazer.” Feixiao laughs while giving him a hearty -painful- slap on the back. Her hand lingers there though, fingers instinctively kneading weary muscles as she helps Caelus straighten up tall and proud; just like how she sees him.
“You… held back.” Caelus gasps with lungs that burn and lips that are parched.
“Well obviously. If I went full-tilt only the Lux Arrow is going to be faster- and not by that much more.” Feixiao confidently answers as she opens the door to her home for Caelus.
“Feixiao?”
This is where they’d part ways, but she stands there beside the threshold.
“C’mon in. Breakfast, like I promised, remember? For when you finally kept up.” the general offers, leaving the door wide open, fully expecting him to follow.
And follow he does- how could he not?
