Till bends his head down. Somewhere along the way, his Ivan has vanished. Till sweeps Ivan’s wet hair away from his face, smooths his palm down Ivan’s broad chest to feel for the heartbeat thudding slow but solid there. He’s only trembling slightly. He puts his lips to Ivan’s ear.
‘Get the fuck up, idiot.’
Ivan opens his eyes.

Something throbs under Till’s thumb. A beat passes. It does it again. Till looks down, confused, and realizes that his hand is gripping Ivan’s wrist, nails digging into the pale skin, his thumb jabbed right into the pulse point.
Ivan’s heart beats slowly. Ivan breathes slowly. Ivan blinks slowly, his giant eyes tilted up. When they make eye contact, Ivan’s pulse skips a beat. The only thought running through Till’s head is: huh?
“Hello,” Ivan says. “You went somewhere.”
“Uh,” Till manages. Ivan’s pulse thrums under his fingers. Why is it so soothing? Every beat of Ivan’s heart lifts a bit of the weight off Till’s chest. Is that normal?
(or: somewhere along the way, Ivan and Till "fall in love," or something like that. This changes nothing that matters, but they end up okay.)

Summary
He is all too aware his feelings are filthy, far too twisted to ever be reciprocated. To call it “love” would be dumbing down something so complex he has never even managed to understand himself. Ivan does not love. He wants to possess Till, to live inside him, settle in his heart, carve out a space meant for him, invade his mind and body. But Till is perfect, far too perfect for him, and Ivan knows he may break under his touch if he is too ravenous. So he will take, he will welcome whatever Till chooses to give him, he will tame the monster inside of him. He will do it if that means Till won’t leave his side.
In another life, would he have been cleansed of these impure feelings?

Till and Ivan are friends. Sort of. Usually friends don't make nests in your bed, or bite your neck, but Till can't argue since he has none.
You'd think that being caught in malicious dating rumors would at least mean you were actually dating the person but... nope. All it takes is a hot, rich friend with terrible pheromone management and a couple of jealous classmates. Shocking, he knows.-
Ivan, who presented as an omega when he should have been an alpha, is forced to maintain his alpha image by his parents. Till, the only other person aware of this (save for his mother), is forced to deal with it. When Ivan goes into heat, Till is the one offering up his bed and delivering meals. When Ivan rolls around his house and coats it with omega pheromones, Till is the one who reminds him to put on his scent blockers and faux alpha pheromones. When Ivan comes home, drenched in said faux pheromones, Till is the one who chases him to the bathroom to wash them off. And when they go to school, Ivan smelling like a squeaky-clean alpha with the barest hint of lingering omega pheromones while Till is reeking of them, Till is the one labeled as a loose omega. As is the way of life.

A young man sits on the ground a few feet ahead, wearing short sleeves despite the cold. His silvery gray hair hangs limply in front of his face and down his nape, obscuring his features from Ivan, and there are dozens of angry pink scars crisscrossing over the skin of his neck.
The curve of his chin and the bow of his spine are painfully familiar, and as Ivan approaches cautiously, his heart hammering in his chest, he looks up and Ivan’s confronted with a pair of bright green eyes, eyes he thought he’d never see again.
They widen as they stare at him, shock and confusion warring within them, most likely mirroring Ivan’s own. Although he seems older, and the scars on his neck are new, there’s no mistaking that the man on the ground in front of him is Till.
