Summary
If you had told Yuma two months ago that he and Taki would be glued at the hip, he’d probably refuse to believe it. A deeper part of him would’ve jumped in excitement, demanding details. Either way, it was true — they had a teammate relationship that many envied.
It shouldn’t have been a surprise, then, when they started interviews, that people would become infatuated with them. That Yuma, and all of his walls and grievances, would become a little infatuated too.
Takayama Riki has always looked up to Nakakita Yuma; only a year older than him, but miles out of his league. When the two of them become teammates, Taki doesn't expect them to click instantly the way they do. He also doesn't anticipate falling head over heels in love with Yuma — but he guesses it's all just part of the ride.

That made Yuma’s tail freeze mid‑swing.
He turned his golden eyes on them, expression perfectly flat. “Excuse me?”
Harua folded his ears back with an awkward half‑smile. “You know how people talk. You, a familiar without a witch; him, a human without magic. It’s… cute, in a tragic‑symmetry kind of way.”

I feel like laughing, it's absurd really, and funny, and the worse? I did felt like I had peed myself and were into it, like a kink or something, I just cleaned myself and dind't think too much about it
"Yes- I mean, I could have, right?" He looks at me and I can't describe how, but it feels like he doesn't wanna tell me something

“You need to eat, Yuma. You look like you’re going to collapse any minute.”
“That’s not your problem to deal with. I can handle it myself.”
“Clearly, you can’t if you’re showing up here. You need blood, and soon.”
Yuma backed himself against the wall behind him. “I can’t. Not from you.”
Taki stepped closer. “Why not from me? I’m here. I’m offering to help you. You need help.”
At that, Yuma let out an audible sob. Just barely, but enough that Taki heard it. He stepped forward again, closing a bit more distance. He approached Yuma slowly, like a shelter cat taken home for the first time.
“I know you’re hungry. I know what I’m doing. Let me help, please.”

It all started with a bang.
No, not the universe, not this time.
