Summary
Against her will, she thought of her childhood. Her parents had spent the first 5 years of her life fighting where she could hear them. She would sit on her bedroom floor digging her fingernails into her thighs until her nails broke or her thighs bled, begging a god she wasn’t sure she believed in to make it stop.
That was the summer she learned what “divorce” was.
She didn’t remember much of what happened after that, but she did remember long boring days in the Los Angeles County family courthouse. She did remember that even though she was young, she was painfully aware of the fact that neither of her parents were fighting in court because they wanted her around. They were fighting in court because neither of them wanted to be tasked with raising a child with behavioral issues who was a carbon copy of the parent they both wanted to forget.
She had felt abandoned then. And it felt really damn similar to how she was feeling right now, staring at the empty crumpled sheets that smelled like Marcy.

After 10 years of being apart, Marcy visits Sasha in LA. They kiss, and Sasha allows herself to feel hope. But after Marcy leaves without a word, Sasha falls apart.

Summary
Tubbo gets discovered as a spy sooner. Instead of waiting until the Festival to have him executed, Schlatt decides to see if there’s any information about Pogtopia he can get out of him first.
Tommy hasn’t seen Tubbo in over a week, and he’s getting worried. When Tubbo is marched onstage already beaten and bloodied, he immediately regrets not checking on him sooner.
In the aftermath of the Festival, Tubbo recovers from his injuries while Tommy pieces together what happened in the week leading up to his execution.

The world breathes with you, in and out, a soft breeze sweeping across the clearing. Grass tickles the back of your neck; you can feel the uncomfortable press of gnarled roots against your spine, and you swear beneath the bark you can feel a heartbeat, a steady thrumming that speaks of life.
It’s all so alive. It’s not the same fabricated, carefully designed set you stood on hours before. There is no stage anymore. The act is over. It’s not haunted by fragments of things left behind in past loops, in your memories, or in other pieces of you torn away from their home and tethered here by the stars. It’s no longer broken, failing, rotting away with the sickening smell of burnt sugar.
It’s. Alive.
… You’re alive.
The air is crisp, the birds cry out, the tree above you waves gently in the wind, and you are alive.
