Summary
There is a cozy street in London’s SoHo district lined with restaurants and storefronts and flats, where window sills are adorned with flower boxes and people bustle along cobbled sidewalks. A record store sits on one end, while a charming cafe beckons customers in just a bit farther down. Near the middle of the street, where it splits in a small intersection, sits two other establishments kitty-corner from each other: a plant shop, and a bookshop.

Aziraphale owns the bookshop, Crowley owns a plant shop, and they are absolute fools about it. Will be sweet, fluffy, etcetera etcetera. A better description to come once I've written more of the chapters.

He placed one hand on the steering wheel and the car began moving, picking up speed as it zipped through the London streets. He wasn’t sure where he was going, wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but he knew he couldn’t just stand there any longer. Not thinking, not planning, not consciously steering the car in any particular direction, just driving, getting away, getting out, getting as far as he possibly could from that damned street corner.

It was a rocky reunion, to say the least. Usually, when they had gone ages without seeing each other, it took them no time at all to find their groove again. This time, however, it took hours of awkward silence and at least four bottles (each) of a 1947 Cabernet Sauvignon. That’s what happens when the last time you saw someone you had your worst argument in 6000 years. Or something like that.

The first time C.C. saw her was at the bar before the game, talking animatedly with the women at her table, her distinct voice carrying across the noisy restaurant. She was wearing a cropped denim jacket, the back painted and bedazzled in Sirens colours, the big NY logo in the centre. C.C. watched as she laughed, throwing her head back and glancing over her shoulder, somehow immediately finding C.C.’s eyes in the busy room. C.C. froze, caught staring, but the woman only grinned at her and winked before turning back to her friends.

I read a fic by groove_bunker that involved Fran/C.C. and women's hockey (aka the best crossover ever, go read it asap), and I was inspired to write something of my own. Is this out of character for them? Probably. Do I care? Not really. I just had fun writing it, so who cares.

Sloane made sure it happened every so often, padding into the kitchen every few Sundays in one of his t-shirts. Sometimes it was the blue USMC one, sometimes it was a black NCIS one, sometimes yet another. She knew it didn’t matter what shirt it was, it would get the same reaction out of him regardless.
