zhuyan and yixuan takes down a demon and few.

yixuan steps in closer, scanning on him for any weapon he might be carrying and when he sees none, he looks up, brows raising, “do you intend to go out there with nothing to rely on?”
zhuyan shrugs, eyes gleaming playfully, “you will be there, no?” when yixuan gives him a look, he sighs, feigning exasperation. he holds up his umbrella, and shakes it with purpose, “this will suffice.”
yixuan does not agree, and zhuyan probably notices the expression he makes because he moves to stand beside him, “i’m a demon.”
“sure you are,” he mutters, eyes fixed ahead, “so’s he.”

or, zhuyan comes back for him again.
to collect on a favour, only to be owed more in turn.
