Summary
“A rock?” Arthur stared skeptically at the map laid out in front of him.
“Yes, sire… well, a stone.” The stableboy nodded nervously, glancing at the King before adding, “That is what they was saying. A stone that can’t be tricked nor fooled, one that can detect even the smallest bit of magic in a person.”

Or I really liked the idea of a stone that identifies magic users and how strong their magic is from 'A Warlock's Wish' by vividpast and couldn't stop thinking about it.

Summary
When Merlin first gets to Camelot and sees the king chop off someone’s head, he thinks that perhaps someone should do something about that. When he gets called by the dragon locked in the king’s basement, he thinks someone should do something about that pretty quickly. When the revenge of the executed man’s mother doesn’t take out two dozen innocent people as collateral damage to the king only because he intervenes, he remembers that he is, in fact, someone and is, according to Gaius, pretty powerful. Summary
Arthur hadn’t stirred. His face was peaceful in sleep, utterly unguarded in a way Merlin so rarely saw. Without the weight of duty pressing down on him, without the sharp edges of his arrogance, he looked… soft. Younger.
For a moment, just a moment, Merlin allowed himself to look. Then, something inside him twisted, something deep and old and ancient, something that hummed beneath his skin like magic waiting to be cast.
And then, a darker thought crept in. A whisper of knowledge he had long known but had never spoken aloud.
He could conceive.
----------
After a drunken night leads to an unexpected pregnancy, Merlin struggles to hide the truth, but when Arthur finally learns he’s carrying his child, their relationship deepens as they prepare to face the future together.
