An ache blossomed in Arceus’ vessel as it dug into the girl’s understanding of home. Just what was a home was a mystery to Arceus, it was the girl. ‘Home’ felt like a warm blanket suddenly ripped away, leaving only faint traces of warmth. Whether ‘home’ was a thick wool blanket or a thin cotton sheet, whether it had a fresh earthy aroma or subtle flowery scent, whether it was large enough to nestle with another person underneath. ‘Home’ was understanding the idea of comfort without experiencing it.
Or: Arceus descends.

Pokémon Legends Arceus Week Day 6: Lost and Found
Akari dimly remembered a small Turtwig toddling at her feet and picking up a Poke Ball from a leather-bound suitcase. She didn’t get the option to choose her starter, Chimpchar and Piplup had already met their new Trainers, though she was certain she would have chosen Turtwig no matter what.
“Pangea,” Akari said, crouching down and holding the Poke Ball in front of Turtwig. “Would you like to you on a journey with me?”
Turtwig chirped and nudged the Poke Ball with its snout. Thus began their journey.
Or at least, Akari assumed so. The details of her memory were smudged and vague, like a painting left out in the rain to dry. Pangea’s mere existence was enough to prove their experiences together changed him. But what kind of Trainer was Akari if she couldn’t remember the experience she instilled into her own Pokémon.

PLA Anniversary Week 2026 Day 5: Friends, Family, and Loved Ones
Palina didn’t dare lift her head upon hearing Irida’s grasp, ashamed for sullying the news of her child with a complicated request. Her relationship with Iscan might have been accepted following the end of the Clans' spiritual schism. Welcome even, given they were among the first of their respective clans to make peace with the other. But while a chaste relationship might have been accepted, there’s no telling what reaction to a product of their love would be. After centuries of a rigid divide between the Diamond and Pearl Clans, what would become of a child of both?
Whatever the answer was, it wouldn’t deter Palina from loving or rising her child. She didn’t want or need Irida’s permission, but she would like Irida’s understanding.

“Scratch that question. What we should be asking is what is this place?” Paxton interrupted, much to Ingo’s dismay. The boy vaguely gestured at the flat field sparely populated by small boulders. “It doesn’t look anything like Lumiose and sure, it looks more like Darkrai’s pocket of Hyperspace. But the environment doesn't have any rifts, and I don’t remember a huge mountain.”
“This place is the Cornet Highlands of the Hisui region. I lived here for as long as I can remember” Ingo said, neglecting to mention he had only about five years of memories.
Paxton’s eyebrows rose. “Hisui? That explains it. This pocket of Hyperspace is probably based on that museum exhibit. The one about old Sinnoh.”
“Doesn’t Darkrai come from Sinnoh?” Taunie asked. A flash of realization appeared on her face as she turned to Ingo. “Oh, that’s why your name is so familiar! The exhibit must have mentioned you.”

Lorekeepers were meant to keep their people’s history alive. Cogita’s predecessor not only taught her how to write haikus praising Sinnoh’s name, but also how to carve ita plates from fine wood and how to forge brass ninkari earrings. Celestica history wasn’t just the stories they told each other, but the things they used and wore every day. It was simply a Lorekeepers’ duty to integrate the past into the present and package it for the future.

Akari smiled as she dropped a stack of papers onto Commander Kamado’s desk. “Here’s the report you asked for sir.”
The papers landed on an empty spot on the commander’s wooden desk, right next to the photo frame facing away from Akari. Placing his pen back into its inkwell, Kamado picked up the report. “I believed I asked Captain Cyllene to deliver the report, not you,” he grumbled.
Dawn smiled as he handed a thick overstuff file to Professor Rowan. “Here’s that report you were looking for, sir.”
Pulling his eyes away from his computer, he gave her a warm smile. “Excellent. I nearly thought it somehow ended up in the shred bin.” As he accepted the file, Professor Rowan nudged a stack of papers out of his way with his elbow. “At least this is one least thing off my plate.”

“What the hell are you doing here?’ Mable approached the stranger. His back was turned to her, staring intently at the array of photos on the wall. Each in their frame, the photos depicted every director of the research center since its founding. The man’s fingers creased the photo of Mable’s predecessor.
“I know this man.” The intruder’s voice was hauntingly familiar. He turned to her. Mable swallowed her shock as the intruder asked, “Where is he?”
Mable didn’t say anything. The man before her shouldn’t be alive. He should be buried underneath tons of pounds of dirt, his grave marked by the charred remains of the ultimate weapon.
Or: A typical crappy day becomes even more complicated when Mable finds an unexpected visitor in her office. What ensures is an awkward conversion, missing the coffee.

“It’ll be fine, just a quick stop at the PokéMart.” Looker slammed his mouth shut before he could say anything else. Under normal circumstances, telling anyone who wasn’t involved with the mission was a bad move. One slip of the tongue, and the entire operation was a bust.
But it was just him and Emma, and he wasn’t technically on a mission. Just dealing with the fallout of the last time he told her more than necessary. So, he told her just enough to ease her worries.
Besides, when something were to happen, she deserved to know.
“Fine, but promise me this had nothing to do with the leak,” Emma said, worry clouding her face.
“I promised,” Looker lied.
Or: Looker attempts to go on vacation with Emma after a leak exposes an unsettling truth. Keyword attempts as old habits die hard. A personal investigation of a certain individual leads Looker to face himself. Literally.

“Wake up.” Shadow felt something gently nudge his shoulders. “We’re going to miss it.” Maria said.
Groaning, Shadow buried his face deeper into his pillow. “Tell the scientists I don’t want to.”
“There’s no testing. It’s stars, Shadow. A meteor shower. And we’re going to miss it if you don’t get your spiny butt—”
Maria yelped as Shadow shot up, nearly knocking over the blanket canopy of their pillow fort. The lights were dim, and static buzzed on the TV. But even through the darkness, Maria smiled.
“There’s a meteor shower outside, right now.” Maria grabbed Shadow by the hand and dragged him to the door. The sound of her footsteps was masked by her lacey socks. “We have to see it! It’ll be years until something like this happens again.”

Captain Cyllene closed her eyes and pursed her lips. “Professor Laventon is the primary suspect,” she said in a rush, as if she was forcing herself to deliver the statement.
