Summary
In 1945, when Bucky fell, Steve jumped. Together, through HYDRA's methods, they became the most feared and respected assets HYDRA had ever seen.
In 2014, S.H.I.E.L.D. fell and HYDRA was exposed to the world. Captain Hydra and The Winter Soldier disappeared from history.
In 2016, King T'Chaka of Wakanda is assassinated, the Avengers fracture after the events of Sokovia, and Cap and Winter come out of retirement.
(basically a rewrite of cacw and black panther, with sam as captain america, steve and bucky as cap and winter, and many other changes to come)

Summary
He’s about to step away when a muffled hoarse voice, somehow deeper than his normal speaking voice, comes from beneath the covers. “Bucky.”
It’s almost an order, sleep-drunk from a man who definitely has no reason to be awake at - Bucky checks the hall clock - 5:16 in the morning. He goes over, his mug in his left hand, right hand trailing up Steve’s outstretched leg as he approaches. His fingers ghost over the covers, up over his body, coming to rest on his elbow.
“Yeah Rogers?” He takes a sip of his coffee, laughing a little into the mug as Steve makes a face and a dissatisfied grunt.
“‘M not Rogers.”
Bucky looks at the little glint of gold on Steve’s left hand, still stretched towards Bucky’s side of the bed. “Not anymore, I suppose.”

Summary
When he wakes up, all he knows is the press of a woman’s hand to his shoulder. He looks up and sees her - familiar as ever, though he cannot begin to place her into any of his lack of memories, he can only conjure up the image of a crescent moon on its side, bracketed with two arrows, intertwined with a bolt of silver in the night sky. She crouches before him, long white hair loosely braided and limbs seeming to fizzle out at the edges. She brings darkness to this bed of soil, which raises a question - his first coherent thought - that he cannot voice aloud. She seems to understand, and she raises a finger to her lips to quiet his enquiry.

Summary
A young man sits up, facing away from Pekka, and rubs his eyes furiously. His skin is golden, left shoulder scarred lightly, and he wraps one of the red furs around his waist, apparently not wearing much else. Pekka, startled, makes a choked noise, and the man turns around. He gets to his feet with a boyish smile, and sits himself down on the chair opposite to Pekka.

Two scars, really. Quick, swooping letters right in the center just above his lifeline, thin, dark initials.
His mama tells him what they mean when he’s five, that he’s very special. She tells him not everyone is lucky enough to have letters.
He has a själsfrände, she tells him, before kissing him on the forehead and turning back to her book.
