the last line about how much rocky loves grace was everything. the idea that you want to be so enveloped by them that you are surrounded completely. and your being is so changed by them that you are part of them. reminds me of the idea that love is 1) like breathing in and feeling your lungs and heart whole and full: satisfied and fully at peace with yourself, a better version of yourself. 2) like vampires: to love so much that one obsessively want to consume parts of one's lover into themselves.

Daesan Film School is a film movement started in South Korea in 2020s that was mostly noted for being a counter cinema to the mainstream media. In the country where auteur films were at its peak, Daesan Films celebrated collaborative work. The founding figure for the movement is considered to be an Oscar-winning director Min Yoon-gi and his filming crew that called themselves 'Daesans' -- as all of them were either from Daegu or Busan, none left for the capital city. The term Daesan Film might become misleading when the scope is widened to the second generation of this school with such figures as Ahn Gye-ri, Kim Ki-yong, and Park Si-jeong come into the picture; however, it is undeniable that it was Min Yoon-gi and his team that changed the world's cinema forever now.

had a lonely childhood where imagination was better than real life, until a group of friends suddenly plop into my lap. Though I know it was years of work, I still find it crazy how we clicked, still find it hard to assume they want to continue being with me through life’s changes. They made me feel joy more clearly than anything I’ve read in a character. I grew to love them in every way except romantically. They because why i climbed mountains and they overcame my desire to escape and the things that haunt me. i really want to still have them as step away from filmmaking directly with them.

Yoongi closes his eyes, swallows the bitterness and pulls away. "Alright." And then he changes his mind and comes back at Jungkook and says, "But I swear if you pull anything on my children, I will haunt you. I will find you even if you hide in another Universe and I will torture you and I will make sure you go to hell. Then I will kill myself and I will go to hell after you so I can torture you for the rest of the existence. Are we clear?"
Jungkook pushes himself up from the sofa. His shoulder brushes Yoongi's chest. "Don't forget to take your lunch." Disregarding Yoongi's words just like that, as if they're not worth anything, like all of his worries are pointless.
Or, alternatively: the radio keeps talking about the the Dragon King's violent raids. An ordinary mechanic Min Yoongi calls it a fairy tale. A GISAN officer Kim Seokjin isn't so sure.

I’m love and value familial love and commitment so much; you cherished it and articulated it so well. The mystery was woven in expertly, I knew there was something wrong but I could’ve tell what it was until you articulated it. In the middle I was thinking about how to articulate my I loved it so much and my brain immediately went to the Palestinian people’s love and commitment to living and dying for their children. I had completely forgot that you wrote this for the fund, so you did so well. I hope everyone reading this is inspired to action. I want to remember this fic and be inspired to act lovingly and make art for the rest of my life. May Palestine be free before the next book finishes.

Crazy good writing, like poetry level. This is art.
NJ and YG are so me. I have literally written paragraphs about everything Probably would reach the word limit here. So existential and a fool: like me. the way the relationship between namgi is portrayed: always able to talk about the same topics adding different perspectives but with the same passion; pushing each other forward, but sooooooo soft- is so beautiful and I fully understand it since i have something like this relationship with em(also used to have a squish on them, crazy how I confessed through this, after a turned in a horrible midterm that was giving me a crisis of faith) cause of this the fic is already in my “changed my life”bookmarks.
Even outside of that, it would be interesting to come back to this and think about it the idea of “the self being organic ever changing waves instead of set/falling apart sandcastles” effects my life from now on. I read this right as I was asking god why he allowed me to be such a slave to sin, hopeless and not feeling like a born again Christian. I was feeling like all the things I was doing in my classes for psychology were sandcastles that could crumble down in any moment since u didn’t think I was smart enough for an art therapy degree. I was ultimately asking why he made me like this. though I didn’t get an answer from him though this, this still resonates alittle with what he said: that my distress shows that I am in a period of growth, that I am not defined by my mistakes, I am defined by how much love god has for me and the work he puts into healing me whenever I ask for help: my process of flowing into Christ likeness, how much I yield like water to God’s gravity.
I really want to remember this and be transformed. -

"It's not po-" He tried not to cringe when Jimin unlocked the laptop and all of his tabs from the night before popped up exactly as he’d left them.
“Oh.” Namjoon could see the very moment that Jimin registered what exactly was on the screen in front of him, could see the brief surprise and confusion and worry that passed across his face and he kind of wanted to disappear.

I really appreciate RM’s acknowledgment of the bad people have done and being open about HS’s religious stance. I usually find it triggering to read about religions, but you did it really well.
I fully understand JK’s understanding of religion, I also grew up with my faith and love and want to become the good ideals, they helped me survive the hurtful things others have done in the name of or despite being Christians. I also see how surrounding myself with those who embody those ideals and try to bring good into the world and the people around them are better for my mental health than stewing in my or other’s mistakes/sins. The whole point is to focus on God’s love and sacrifice for us so that we don’t pay attention to hurting ourselves and others.
