    Summary

Teacher Grace cried some more. Engineer Music-Suggesting-Foundations-of-Home was quite used to it doing this, and waited patiently for it to stop.

“It is Earth culture,” it confessed, even damper than before. “Males are not permitted to remove their own sperms. Only female humans may do that, and only to the males they own. I have never belonged to a female, so it is always painful for me.” Fluids gushed from its nose and mouth in a pitiful fashion.

    Bookmarker's Notes

“The thing is, I think it would be a case of malicious falsehood if we only let the first author of the trope write about viviparity. The first documented examples of viviparity of this kind in the romance genre are locally-made zines about the supposed relationship between Teacher Grace and Engineer Music-Suggesting-Foundations-of-Home. These are not written for profit and the authors typically use pseudonyms. Even if they are successfully identified, their names would be forever associated with such work if we took them to trial. Nobody would ever come forward.”

The creepier kind of fetish porn even called Teacher Grace a “he”, as though it were a shablul or a rolkesh, some kind of mindless livestock where the only important thing about it was how it reproduced and how well. Possibly that was erotic for some people, but Identifies-Discrepancy just found it de-eridianising. Or whatever word you might use for an alien, anyway.

    John's #1 Parlay of the Day @johnchukbetzone
I'll leave it to others to argue whether the relationship should even be permitted by the league. But vital information was concealed from bettors by failing to disclose when it started. Hollander & Rozanov may have allowed billions of dollars to be wagered under false pretenses.

I really should have known that the people with the absolute most deranged and late-stage capitalism reactions to the Rozanov/Hollander relationship would be online sports gamblers. You got me there. That one's on me.

Halfway through Shane and Ilya’s first season playing together in Ottawa, an online sports betting company figures out how to make itself the main character when it comes to social media’s new favorite topic.

"I guess--" Shane starts to say. "I don't understand why a sports gambling website and a bunch of complete strangers we've never met have decided that this is some big secret that we're keeping from them." He says this part with a grimace. Getting hassled about how he personally lost someone money on a prop bet was his least favorite kind of fan encounter until the first time someone said, "I don't even care about hockey, but I just love you and your husband!" like that was supposed to be a compliment.

    "People are very nosy."

    Summary

Optimus, regrettably, stayed staring at the image of a destroyed Cybertron for much longer than Megatron anticipated. The initial anger fell into a grief that had caught him in an emotional feedback loop that took several Earth minutes to clear.

It was getting tiring. Megatron had burned his grief away a long time ago. There was no point mourning what could have been. The past could not be seized, and his patience was limited.

And then, of course, Optimus had to go and speak in Orion’s voice.

[During the Orion Pax arc. Nothing gets better, but for just a moment they can remember what it was like.]

“What,” he ground out instead, “is so amusing to you?”

The laughter continued to bubble in the background as Orion spoke. “Perhaps I have been too selfless in the past, Megatron. But not this. This is the most selfish thing I think I have ever done.”

It's 2006 and Shane Hollander, in a gay panic, hooks up with his girlfriend Jessica. The consequences of that night – well. It might be the stupidest thing he's ever done. But also, maybe, sort of the best.

Like hell is he going to let it affect his hockey.

“Put that down,” Shane said, too loudly, too harshly. “Sorry. It’s for my kid.”

Rozanov looked at the raccoon quizzically, a half-smile dawning that Shane feared might be the predecessor to a chirp. But, instead: “Tell me about her.”

    “What?”

Rozanov looked at him plainly, like this was the most normal conversation in the world, Shane naked on the bed and Rozanov standing by the door with the taste of Shane still on his lips and a stuffed raccoon in his hands. “Your kid. What is she like?”

    Summary

Cliff would probably remember if he was there when Ilya met a woman so earth-shattering that he would chase after her for nearly a decade. Probably. Cliff thinks he would probably notice something as life-altering as a meeting like that. Who on earth is this woman and how did they find each other? Did Cliff watch Ilya’s life change before his eyes and not even realize what was happening?

In the fall of 2017, Cliff Marlow notices evidence of Jane all over Ilya’s apartment. He decides to investigate.

    Bookmarker's Notes

By trying to protect his secrets, Ilya has dug himself into a hole. His open-book, loud, out-there persona mixed with his athletic prowess means that there are always eyes trained on his every move. He’s a sleazy reporter’s dream and a PR staffer’s sleep paralysis demon. He tries, usually successfully, to distract the watching eyes all with bigger moves, crazier statements, and other moments that make them think now THAT'S Ilya Rozanov, the guy we all know and love or love to hate. He uses his public persona like an obnoxiously-patterned duvet on top of the bed that he wants everyone to believe he fucks nasty on. If you know where to look, sometimes you can notice that the corners of the duvet are not tucked in properly and that the blanket has gone slightly askew enough to reveal a hint of what he was trying to hide underneath.
