Summary
With humanity restored and the silence of petrification finally gone, life begins to settle into a different rhythm. Science moves forward, the future stretches farther than ever, and for the first time, not everything revolves around survival.
Gen no longer has to carry everything alone. The weight he once bore grows lighter now that it can be shared, and in that change, he learns to live without the constant urgency that once defined his days. At his side, Senkū slowly adapts to a role he never planned for, finding in the ordinary something that cannot be solved with logic, yet learning to understand it in his own way.

It started as a fucking joke, really.
Senkuu was extremely stressed that day after their sixth failure on the satellite. He knew that making a rocket was extremely difficult, but as much as he had fun on building a new one, he did not expect to have these many failures in a row. It’s quite humbling, to be honest.
Gen realized that and decided to help Senku relax, even just a bit.

Because, as of today, Gen has become, to Senku, an essential asset, a trusted confidant and a precious friend, someone he genuinely can’t fathom ever leaving his side: Gen, with his witty mouth and brilliant mind, has managed, in the span of only a few months, to carve himself an irreplaceable spot in Senku’s life.

Well, Senku thinks, that’s embarrassing.
