Summary
To say that Nikto is lonely isn’t entirely correct. He has casual hookups, a team that values him and one man who he calls “something akin to a friend” with cautious optimism. But he knows that as a homosexual man, he will most likely have to wait for retirement for his love life to go steady and for his weekends to be filled with more than grocery shopping and tv.
This is why he agrees to help Dmitry out with a kids birthday party on a random Saturday. To his surprise, his biggest problem is neither the soundscape, nor the kids. It isn’t even that between spilled soda and provocations, he finds himself feuding with a third-tier party clown who seems to be set on charming him.
The worst thing is that it is working…
