Summary
The hand that had been gently petting Mumbo instead grasped at the strands of his hair, forcing the two pale faces to meet, crimson eyes flitting to Grian’s nose and Grian’s empty sockets level with Mumbo’s.
“Listen. Do you want this?” It wasn’t a question. Mumbo nodded anyway, pupils wide.
Grian’s bottom lip twitched. “Okay.” The room froze and thawed, and Mumbo was on his back, head in Scar’s lap. Grian sat on Mumbo’s other side, his hand firm on his throat.
Mumbo swallowed, and the hand pressed down. It crept up, gently pulling his mouth open, fangs sharp and tongue lolling out.
Mumbo was transfixed. Above, in Scar’s clawed hand, there was a shining red mass.

Summary
It’s not often that Shouto initiates conversation and Natsuo learned not to take it to heart. That’s simply how Shouto is. He knows his little brother cares because every now and again, he’ll receive a cute picture of a cat or some outdated meme followed by a question mark. Something that lets Natsuo know that Shouto is thinking of him.
So, when his phone chirps with a text from his brother, he looks up so fast it makes him dizzy. It’s likely another picture but he has to be sure. He’d spent enough time in his life not being there, a quick peek won’t kill him.
Shouto: Hey. I have a question.
Shouto: Several, actually.

‘Y- y’know…’ Midoriya finally looked away, cheeks darkening. There was an almost wistful smile on his lips. ‘I used to have the biggest crush on you in high school.’
Shoto inhaled sharply and his eyes widened; the aged scar tissue around his left eye pulled taut. His heart hammered against his chest with a ferocity rivalling a gruelling villain fight, while all the tension rose to his head, which suddenly felt too small for all the pressure.
And then Midoriya laughed awkwardly—as if the mere idea of such a thing was ludicrous. Shoto, usually one to welcome the sound, felt nauseous.

"You look very tired," Shoto observes, studying the shadows under his eyes. "Your eyebags are truly impressive. They show your dedication. You should be proud of them. They make you look like a very exhausted, very committed panda."
Aizawa's face does something funny. It's not quite an expression, more like several micro-expressions happening at once and canceling each other out. His eye twitches. Just once. A tiny twitch that most people would miss, but Shoto is very good at reading faces, at cataloging the changes that reveal what people are actually thinking beneath what they're saying.
"I need more coffee," Sensei mutters, apparently addressing the ceiling. "So much more coffee."
or: A quirk makes Shoto lose his filter, and Class 3-A learns that beneath the stoicism is a cuddle-hungry boyfriend who thinks Katsuki is a "prickly peach." Katsuki is mortified. Aizawa needs a raise.
