King opened his eyes to the bathroom. The bathroom faucet running at full blast and a rubber duck in his paws. He sighed.
At this point, he just wondered what he did to deserve any of this.
One of his paws reached up to turn the tap off, the other tossed Rubeus Ducky – who he’d once permanently lost during the Emperor Coven’s raid of the Owl House – into the bathtub. He climbed in after it and settled into the warmth. King looked for his reflection in the water.
Yep, there it was: broken horn and an unfractured skull. He didn’t know what else he was expecting really.
