    The Guardian by Emily_F6. After Peter loses Aunt May in a car accident, Tony takes him in. There's lots of sadness and angst throughout the whole thing, and he's constantly apologizing, but his relationship with tony is so sweet, and Loki is so kind to him <3. Also Steve lowkey pmo, but there's some sweet scenes with Peter worrying about Tony.

    Child's Play by theoneandonlyfishboy. Peter is homeless, and meets Clint. Peter is sleeping on a ledge/wall/stoop. Clint and Sam rescue Peter from a fight and bring him to live with them at the avengers tower. Peter slowly gets to know the people there, and grows closer to them (they're hella cute). Tony and Bruce are like his science mentors. He still had hella abandonment issues though, so there's a bit of angst. But also adorable.

    With a Child's Heart by Scarlet_Ribbons. Brooo devastating. Like, in a good way, though. Steve and Tony find Peter hella injured in a dumpster, and pull him out and get him healed up. They (and the rest of the avengers) are horrified at how young he is and how hurt he got. Also check out the rest of the Growing Pains series, it's good!

    “You’re Captain America.” Eli’s got his teeth clenched and is resolutely looking ahead. “You stand for truth and justice and the American way. You stand for American morals. You stand for…” he shrugs awkwardly. “Not people like me.”

    Steve blows the air out of his cheeks slowly, trying to figure out how to keep the anger out of his voice so Eli doesn’t think it’s at him.

    Or, Steve comes to terms with his new world, and gains some children in the process.

    family means no one gets left behind or forgotten by cosmicocean. I love this so much - even though it's one chapter it's actually hella long. Steve is so sweet to all of the kids. The kids themselves are amazing, and I love the found family, especially with Auntie Nat and Bucky (second dad!) as well. It's so adorable and sweet.
