Elijah's death started a pattern. Malkuth came into the lab and took control, breaking records and proving her expertise in the field.
Giovanni willingly walked toward his own death on the promise that it could save Carmen, ignoring the warnings that he should turn back. Netzach swore that he would be the last. Between the three of them, they could keep everyone else safe.
But could they truly do that? Or would they only change the timeline in new and unpredictable ways as the lab took advantage of the knowledge they brought back.

Summary
Battats life in TV world was similar to the other Pippins, then he catches the attention of the lightners who weight him, only they do it wrong. He learns to be Mike, meets the others and accidentally stumbles upon ante.
A mostly finished battat prequil to Upping the Ante that I want off my chest. Has a few gaps but it's readable for the most part.

Ive been looking at submas aus nonstop for the past few days and came up with my own
I’ve been calling it “cuckoo zoroark ingo” in my head basically zoroarks are brood parasites who will find a host nest with newborn pokemon and replace one of the hosts baby’s with a newborn zoroa. While this is mostly seen as a issue for pokemon breeders, zoroark will use humans as hosts occasionally.
So imagine you have a set of parents who just brought there one singular kid home from the hospital. It’s the middle of the night and they decides to check on their kid. as they get close they can hear shuffling so of course they bolt into the room and what do they see but a zoroark standing over their kid. It jumps out the window once it notices it was spotted. They go to check on their kid and there’s two kids in the crib. The zoroark already put its baby in but haven’t taken theirs out yet. They try to figure out which one is the real one but they can’t and eventually decide that they would figure it out eventually and if they didn’t zoroa leave their host at about 3 years old so they just have to wait it out.

Yesod knew, logically, how a sephirah's core was supposed to be maintained. He had even written the standard.
That didn't stop the others from taking a cavalier approach to self care and ignoring his instructions. Not that he was truly any better… just in a different way than the others.
