“Is it going to h-hurt?” Jimin asks, voice breaking when he verbalizes his greatest worry. A shaky breath pulls from his lungs, impossibly loud in the quiet of night.
“M… M-M… Mating.” Jungkook grunts, common tongue clumsy and awkward coming from his mouth. It sounds unpracticed, discordant. He motions to the mat and blankets on the ground, striated muscles flexing with every move his capable body produces. Another step closer. “Mating. O-Okay?”
Permission, Jimin realizes. The Head Alpha of the Jeon Pack, formidable and revered leader known for his brute strength and staunch ruling, stands here asking for permission before he takes the omega promised to him. He sounds almost nervous, shy and boyish in a way that Jimin never expected.
“O-Okay.” Jimin nods, still debilitatingly nervous but also aware of his duty.

Jimin is so startled, he falls back onto his butt and screams.
Jungkook just stands there, arms crossed over his chest and a clear look of annoyance gracing his features. For someone with an impairment, he’s way too tapped into his wolf abilities. How he managed to find Jimin and sneak up on him is beyond his imagination.
“Ugh! That is terrible manners to creep up on someone like that! How did you even find me?”
Jungkook waits. Mouth twisting into a smirk. “I told you already. I can smell you.”
Jimin huffs. “Well, that’s impossible! I have no scent so I don’t know what you keep going on about.”

Jimin has been scentless for as long as he can remember. His pack leader reminds him of this disorder constantly while burdening him with the guilt of being useless amongst strong wolves. He ends up getting lost in a snow storm, finding refuge in a cottage that belongs to an alpha who is blind.
