Megumi shrugs. "It wasn't planned," he says. And softer, he adds, "We never discussed it before. Yuuji and I, I mean."
"Don't tell me Yuuji's not onboard?" Satoru sounds genuinely curious, and that's when the dam breaks.
OR: Megumi contends with the difficulty of an accidental pregnancy with no surety of the other parent's support and involvement, while Yuuji makes a mistake and tries to fix it.

Yuuji nods. "I'm sorry, Sensei," he says. "It was of utmost importance that I save Megumi."
"By making him a vessel and using his body like a mecha?" Gojo raises an eyebrow.
Megumi takes over in that moment, speaking aloud for the first time in months. "Shut up, it's not Yuuji's fault that it came to this."
Yuuji manages to get Sukuna out of Megumi's body - but there's a catch. Still, maybe there's a silver lining.

Megumi has always reminded Satoru of himself at that age, even if their circumstances are extraordinarily different. As an only child, he hadn't realised that commenting on it frequently might've left Tsumiki with uncertainty and discomfort of her own, though.

Summary
When Yuuta looks at Inumaki, when he's around Inumaki, the world goes a little quieter. The voices in his head shut up. Everything feels manageable, like a billion locked doors opening.
Dancing with Inumaki is like that. Yuuta lets himself become a shadow, malleable, moving as per Inumaki's every whim. Their feet trace patterns along the chessboard of the dance floor, the waltz somber and dreamlike, and it's easy for Yuuta the perpetual overthinker to dissolve into the feeling of being at peace, being comfortable and at ease and feeling safe in his body, safe in his best friend's hands.

Summary

"Idiot," Megumi mutters, looking away.
Yuuji looks up at him. "Yeah, well. I doubt anyone else would put up with me."

Megumi Fushiguro never stood a chance in life. His mother died when he was five, his father abused and neglected him, and he has never felt right in his own mind or body. The only two people who have ever cared about him are his sister Tsumiki and his mother's childhood friend Satoru Gojo. Gojo is the only person in his life that has ever been like a parent to him. He practically raised Megumi and his sister and was always there when they needed him. Meugmi is slow to trust and love, but holds his family and his two best friends very close to his chest. But now, at the beginning of his sophomore year of high school, Tsumiki has gone away to college and his conflicting emotions about one of his friends have thrown him for a loop. But still, Gojo is there. He doesn't leave and remains an ever constant persence in Megumi's life, which he is eternally grateful for. But sometimes, it's not enough to silence the voices in his head, however much Gojo tries.

All Itadori Yuuji wanted that evening was to have a good time with his friends, but then the voice of his best friend ruined that plan in less than two seconds:
“There’s one more thing,” she finally said. “Megumi will be there too.”
The air suddenly caught in Itadori’s lungs.
Fushiguro Megumi.
The breath stuck in his chest left him in a loud, disappointed sigh, loud enough to echo down the stairwell. He lowered his head slightly, running a hand over his neck with a pained grimace, wondering how to respond to what he’d just heard.
“Uh… thanks for the heads-up,” he said at last, his voice flat with indifference.
Itadori didn't want to go. Despite having a bad feeling about it he made the mistake of going to Shibuya anyway.
And by the end of the night, he regretted it more than anything.

Yuji remembers his crazy past life as a sorcerer, fighting curses and struggling to stay alive. Now there’s no such thing as sorcery and he’s just a normal kid at school. The biggest thing he has to worry about is this upcoming English exam. It’s the best ending he could’ve asked for!
For some reason he (maybe stupidly) assumes that nobody else remembers, and everyone else (maybe even more stupidly) assumes that he’s the only one that doesn’t.
