Law stands at the helm of a ship that isn’t his.
They need supplies, they need to recover (he needs to recover), they need to go back. He can’t— he doesn’t have another choice. The sharp tone fell short when Luffy gently placed his other hand on Law’s forehead, pushing up his dark hair. The younger captain calmly stared into Law’s shocked eyes, studying them in silence.
Law’s worn out heart was betraying him.
After so many losses, so many heart breaks, Law never seemed to learn his lesson.

He has no pretext of what comes next, merely chasing what it is he desires in the moment. That's how he operates in every facet. Even now, all he knows is the sensations and the pleasure that he desires. He has no idea how to go about getting more of it.
