Then an unexpected yet familiar person comes to his training center, and Sukuna is suddenly very determined to become their partner.
Or: Sukuna is a service dog, and Yuuji has diabetes. The first one needs to help survive the latter. Ironic, isn't it? Not enough. Let's make them very attached to each other in the process!

When Yuji was a little kid he got lost at a festival. It’s funny, looking back. He saw someone selling candy and he wanted some so bad that he just snatched his hand out of his grandpa’s and went sprinting off through the crowd! When he finally stopped to look back, he realised had no idea where he was.
Everything after that is foggy, but somebody probably found him and guided him back or something, because he’s still alive today, safe and sound.

Ryomen Sukuna, King of Curses was immune to all poisons and venoms. That was just a fact, something as truly evil as he was could not be invaded by a stupid lesser evil. It was merely logical and such ability transferred well to the already sturdy body of his vessel who he was currently in possession of.
The same, clearly, could not be said of Fushiguro Megumi.
