Summary
Three interconnected stories about world and galaxy changing disasters: 9/11, the Xindi attack, and Wolf 359, and their far-reaching consequences. Contains: background for my oc, Enterprise era world building, and speculation about exactly how much of a pain in the ass Robert Picard is to live with. OC-heavy content dislikers, read chapters "Where the Winds Tried to Blow, And We Said 'No'", "Give Me Something To Do 'Cause I Can't Watch the News Anymore", and "It's Literally Still Burning" and skip everything else.

So, did you ever wonder what Bruce Maddox did with the rest of his life after having his ass handed to him in court by Data and Picard? Me too. It's the sequel to The Measure of a Man that literally no one asked for. Contains: fun with Federation law, more face time with Bruce Maddox than any one person should have to endure, speculation about the post-First Contact period, and Vulcan lesbians.

Summary
So you remember that episode where the Enterprise-D picks up some humans from the 1980's and it serves as a contrast between the 20th century and the 24th? Because I do, and I have THOUGHTS. I think that the premise of cryonics was fundamentally counterproductive to the episode's purpose because cryonics inherently biases the pool towards relatively wealthy people who have their lives together. So I wrote a story about the crew dealing with an untrusting, uncooperative, mentally ill, belligerent trans autistic person. Because I found it amusing. Data heavy and tagged self-indulgent for a reason. Enjoy.
