Summary
Mike remembers that one Saturday when they were nine, when he had biked to the Byers house for a sleepover, only to find Will bruised and bleeding after an encounter with Lonnie. How Joyce was a mess as she tended to Will’s wounds, telling her son how brave he was for not even shedding a tear. But Mike could see how hard Will was trying not to flinch every time she touched him, how hard he was clutching his hands to stop them from trembling. And later that night, when they were curled up in Will’s bed, Will had sobbed into Mike’s chest as Mike held on to him, promising that he’d always keep Will safe.
Mike confronts his feelings for Will with a series of memories.

The very first colour Draco saw was green.
Of course, he didn’t know then and there that Harry Potter’s eyes were a brilliant hue of emerald, having only seen the world in shades of grey up until the moment he turned to see a skinny boy with the roundest glasses he’d ever stumbled across staring straight at him with eyes that were definitely not grey and—
Oh.
Oh!

Summary
“Wait,” Junho starts, eyes wide, “you’re not seriously suggesting Professor Hwang's…jealous?”
Saebyok leans back and crosses her arms. “Are you saying it’s impossible?”
Junho gapes at her for a moment, wondering if he had misunderstood this whole conversation. When Saebyok only raises an eyebrow in response, he splutters, “My brother’s not g—“ He lowers his voice as a ghost floats past their table, “—Professor Hwang isn’t gay!”
The Gryffindor narrows her eyes, clearly unimpressed.
“I mean,” Junho says quickly, "I wouldn’t have a problem with it if he is, but I would know by now if he were!”
The silence that follows is damning, and Junho wishes he could somehow Obliviate the whole lot of them without getting into trouble. “He’s only ever dated women,” he adds weakly.
(aka, the hp au where Junho finds out his brother is madly in love with Gihun and decides to help him out a bit)

“Young-il! I know you’re there! Face me, you coward! FACE ME!”
His voice bounced off the walls, ragged with fury and heartbreak. In-ho couldn’t bring himself to look away. Gi-hun stood alone, Jun-hee’s baby cradled against his chest, swaying slightly as if the weight might drag him down.
The VIPs beside him stirred. He could hear the rustle of fur, the clink of ice in crystal glasses, the irritation of people unaccustomed to dealing with real human emotion.
“What’s he doing?” Eagle asked lazily. “He won, why is he so angry?”
“You’re asking why the maniac who came back willingly is angry?” Panther replied, already bored again.
But In-ho knew. He was daring In-ho to talk to him again. Because they both knew that he had just lost. When Player 333—one who had proven himself to be nothing but selfish and self-serving—had said, “Look after her,” then started the game, and thrown himself off the platform before Gi-hun could even blink, Gi-hun had proven that his faith in humanity wasn’t misplaced.

Summary
The mission to find his brother and prevent anyone from accidentally killing him in a fit of righteous anger was already a hard enough task. But matters became infinitely more complicated for Jun-ho the moment he met the mercenary leader his friend had hired for them.
A face from his past, with its mere presence, derailed his thoughts toward decidedly unmission-related destinations, and the fact that the man, who had been his most memorable night, didn't even seem to remember him, stung more than he cared to admit. The only way to resolve the issue was to talk it out.
Or, perhaps, to explore other, less verbal resolutions.

Summary
"I hate you." Gi-hun says between sniffs. “I hate you.”
In-ho drops the gun, pulls his arm and takes him into a hug. Gi-hun doesn't hug him back, but rests his forehead on his shoulder. "I hate you."
"I know." He runs his fingers through Gi-hun's hair; it really is growing back. "I know."
“I hate you.” His tears dampen In-ho's shirt but he doesn't care. He doesn't dare to let him go.
“Shh… I know.”
The island was destroyed. All that's left are two winners who are learning to deal with the burden of survival.

Summary
As the sun descends over the fairgrounds, Jun-ho and his older brother head toward his favorite ride - the Ferris Wheel.
That’s when he sees it.
The holy grail of carnival prizes: a giant Derpy plushie, the tiger from Kpop Demon Hunters, nearly as big as he is and ten times more majestic.
Jun-ho doesn't just want it. He *needs* it. Desperately.
But while his heart is set on the oversized anime feline, In-ho’s attention drifts elsewhere… to the charming stall worker with a crooked smile and a voice like velvet.

Summary
"It's not my place," Jun-hee said, "and I know you... have a wife waiting for you at home. But there's a high possibility that none of us will make it out of this place alive, so..." another pause, she hesitated, before she continued, "I think you should tell Gi-hun how you feel."
In-ho looked at her, and for the first time, he could not maintain the calculated, innocent face of Young-il, or the cold, emotionless mask of the Front Man.
