Summary
"I know not who I am any longer," I told him, thankful I had donned no cosmetics as I cried into his fern-colored jerkin. At least the only marks I would leave on it would be tearstains. "Each time I think I've figured it out, it slips away from me again. I am lost, Fitz. I don't know who I am, without prophecies to guide me and fate to make me bold."
"You are Beloved," Fitz replied simply, his lips in my hair. "You are mine. For now, let that be enough. You are Beloved, and you belong to me."
Old wounds still ache, even beneath the tender bulwark of newly rediscovered loved. It takes a familiar hand to tend them.

Summary
My mouth fell from him, and closed again at the juncture of his wrist, right at the pulse point. His fingertips rested on my cheekbone as my tongue reached out to soothe the momentarily hurt. I can’t recall which one of us moved, but my hand moved to cup his bottom, and he was soon straddling me, the cotton and lace of his white nightgown pooling in my lap like a lady’s skirts.
In which Fitz is quite taken with Beloved's hands.Bookmarked by tysephine

Summary
And then it came over me with a wave of peace. I was his.
That was this new river loosed within me. I had always known that he belonged to me, my friend, my Fool, my wielder even. My self, in some fundamental way I could not express. Despite any of our petty quarrels I had never truly doubted that. But I belonged to him as well, past, future, present. Heart and body. As much his as I was my own. The knowledge ran through me with the brandy, and left me just as giddy.
