Matt’s lips twitched. “It’s alright.” He inclined his head, pushing off of the wall and extending his hand. “Matthew Murdock.”
The slightest bit of hesitation, before Matt found his hand grasped in a surprisingly firm grip. “Benjamin. Ben Poindexter." He cleared his throat. “But I go by Dex, usually.”
Matt grinned. “And I go by Matt.” He tilted his head, flashing a smile. “Usually.”
Matt and Dex meet each other in college.

When Matt took the bullet aimed for Fisk, Dex watched with both disappointment and wonder. How his blood splattered, how his limbs gave out under him, how his hand reached up, accepting death so gracefully.
As if he knew something reserved only to him and all the other saints.

"You tried to kill yourself," Lando said harshly. His heart was racketing against his ribs suddenly, some great pressure on his chest, aching and unyielding, and he couldn't breathe. "You tried to kill yourself, Oscar."
"That's not any of your business, or his," Oscar bit out.
"You made it my business," he carefully did not shout, "when you planned for me to find your body."
Oscar overdoses. They all live through the aftermath.
